Netflix launches iOS game controller app, hints at future cloud gaming support

Netflix has released a "Netflix Game Controller" iOS app that turns iPhones/iPads into controllers for playing games on TVs.
The app is currently in beta and doesn't yet enable gameplay, but suggests Netflix is prepping a cloud gaming service.
Netflix began offering mobile games in Nov 2021 and has since published nearly 70 titles.
The company aims to use cloud gaming to provide easy cross-device access to games through existing subscriptions.
Netflix acquired game studios like Night School Studio and Boss Fight Entertainment to expand its gaming content.
