Netflix Increases Subscription Prices in the UK Following Global Hikes

The streaming giant raises rates across all UK plans, mirroring recent price adjustments in the US, Canada, and other regions.

Netflix's UK Standard plan now costs £12.99 per month, a £2 increase, while the Premium plan rises by £1 to £18.99 per month.
The ad-supported Standard plan also sees a £1 increase, now priced at £5.99 per month for new subscribers.
These adjustments follow similar price hikes implemented in January 2025 across the US, Canada, Portugal, and Argentina.
Netflix cites continued investment in content and features, as well as local market factors like inflation, as reasons for the increases.
The company reported a record 19 million new subscribers in Q4 2024, alongside 16% revenue growth, signaling strong performance despite higher costs.
