Netflix Greenlights 'Little House on the Prairie' Reboot

Netflix has announced a reboot of the iconic 1970s TV series 'Little House on the Prairie,' based on Laura Ingalls Wilder's books.
The series will be helmed by Rebecca Sonnenshine, known for 'The Boys' and 'The Vampire Diaries,' as showrunner and executive producer.
Described as part family drama, part survival tale, and part origin story, the reboot will explore the challenges and triumphs of shaping the American West.
Trip Friendly, son of the original show's producer Ed Friendly, is also onboard as an executive producer, continuing his father's legacy.
The original series, which aired from 1974 to 1983, remains popular, with 13.3 billion minutes streamed on Peacock in 2024.
