Netflix Confirms Second Season of Hit German Series 'Achtsam Morden'

The darkly comedic crime show, based on Karsten Dusse's bestselling novels, will begin filming its new season in 2025.

Netflix announced the renewal of 'Achtsam Morden' for a second season, following the success of its first season released in October 2023.
The series, starring Tom Schilling as lawyer-turned-mafia-boss Björn Diemel, combines dark humor with themes of mindfulness and work-life balance.
Season one was a global hit, reaching Netflix's Top 10 in 66 countries and holding a spot in the worldwide Top 10 for three weeks.
The show is adapted from Karsten Dusse's bestselling book series, which has been translated into 26 languages and sold over 1.5 million copies in Germany alone.
Production for the second season, led by Jan Ehlert and writer Doron Wisotzky, is set to begin next year, with the main cast returning.
