The series is a collaboration between 'Maid' creator Molly Smith Metzler and Margot Robbie's production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
'Sirens' is based on Metzler's play 'Elemeno Pea,' exploring the complex relationship between two sisters and the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell.
This marks the first series under Metzler's multi-year deal with Netflix, following the success of 'Maid.'
