The documentary, titled 'The Roshans,' will chronicle the journey of the Roshan family, starting with patriarch Roshan Lal Nagrath, a legendary music composer.
It will highlight the careers of Rakesh Roshan, a filmmaker and actor, Rajesh Roshan, a music composer, and Hrithik Roshan, a Bollywood superstar.
Directed by Shashi Ranjan, the series will feature candid interviews with industry peers, including Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, reflecting on the family's impact on Indian cinema.
The Roshan family expressed excitement about partnering with Netflix to share their legacy with a global audience through previously untold stories.
A release date for the docu-series has not yet been announced, but it continues Netflix's trend of exploring Bollywood's history, following 'The Romantics' and 'Angry Young Men.'
