Netflix Announces Cast For Highly Anticipated Second Season of ‘Squid Game’

The creator and director of ‘Squid Game,’ Hwang Dong-hyuk, will return for the second season, which will explore whether solidarity between humans is possible.
New cast members include Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Won Ji-an, Lee Jin-uk, and Lee David.
Returning cast members include Lee Jung-Jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Yim Si-Wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Park Gyu-Young, Park Sung-Hoon, Jo Yu-Ri, Wi Ha-Jun, Yang Dong-Geun, Kang Ae-Sim, and Gong Yoo.
Filming for the highly anticipated second season will begin in July, though the release date is likely to be in late 2024.
The massive success of the first season, which became Netflix's most-watched series, has built huge excitement for the second season.
