Netflix Actor Callum Kerr Mourns Deaths of Mother and Stepfather in France

Authorities report the couple died violent deaths but have not determined whether homicide was involved.

Callum Kerr, known for roles in Netflix's 'Virgin River' and BBC's 'Hollyoaks,' released a statement grieving the loss of his mother, Dawn Searle, and stepfather, Andrew Searle.
The couple's bodies were discovered on February 6 at their home in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, France, after they failed to meet a neighbor for a scheduled dog walk.
Dawn Searle's body was found outside the property surrounded by jewelry, while Andrew Searle's body was discovered inside the home.
Public prosecutor Nicolas Rigot-Muller stated both individuals died violent deaths but could not confirm if either was a homicide, leaving all possibilities open.
The couple, retired and in their 60s, had relocated to France from Scotland a decade ago; autopsies are scheduled to begin Monday to determine the causes of death.
