- Delhi’s two-day North-East Students’ Festival concluded at Talkatora Indoor Stadium with a packed cultural finale featuring music, dance and regional cuisines.
- The Chief Minister told attendees the government’s top priority is the safety, education and future of students from the North-East and vowed to help scale up the event in coming years.
- Organised by My Home India under the theme “From Culture to Climate: The Youth Mandate,” the programme paired performances with sessions on entrepreneurship, sustainability and rainwater harvesting.
- Dignitaries including V. K. Singh and organiser Sunil Deodhar attended, as artists from across the region performed and a musical tribute honored the late Zubeen Garg.
- Organisers expected around 25,000 students to take part, while a separate Indraprastha Dance Festival ran at Purana Qila during the same period.
