• NEPRA approved a uniform positive Fuel Charges Adjustment of Rs 0.0796 per kWh after reviewing August 2025 fuel and generation data.
• The adjustment applies to all Ex-WAPDA distribution companies and extends to K-Electric customers under the federal uniform tariff policy.
• Distribution companies must display the FCA as a separate line item in electricity bills issued for October 2025.
• Lifeline and protected domestic consumers, EV charging stations, and pre-paid users are exempt from the charge.
• NEPRA directed utilities to implement the adjustment in compliance with all standing court orders.
