Nepalese Spiritual Leader 'Buddha Boy' Convicted of Sexual Assault on Minor

Ram Bahadur Bomjan, known as 'Buddha Boy,' faces up to 14 years in prison following a court ruling in Nepal.

Bomjan was arrested in January and found guilty by the Sarlahi District Court.
The spiritual leader is also under investigation for the disappearance of four devotees.
Bomjan gained fame in 2005 for his claims of meditating without food or water for months.
Authorities seized $250,000 in cash during his arrest in Kathmandu.
He can appeal the conviction, with sentencing scheduled for July 1.
