Neowiz Partners with Zakazane for $8M Neo-Western RPG

Neowiz has signed a global publishing deal worth $8 million with Warsaw-based game developer Zakazane.
The upcoming game is a single-player, noir-themed Western RPG set in a remote mining town.
Players will take on the role of a sheriff tasked with solving a case that threatens the local community.
Zakazane was founded by former developers from CD Projekt Red and 11 Bit Studios, aiming to create mature, story-driven games.
Neowiz's investment marks its continued interest in Polish game studios, following a previous deal with Blank Game Studios.
