Neon Acquires Steven Soderbergh's Unique Ghost Story 'Presence' at Sundance

The film, told from the ghost's perspective, features Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan and others, and was shot in secret in just 11 days.

Neon has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Steven Soderbergh’s unique ghost story film “Presence” from the Sundance Film Festival.
The film, written by David Koepp, is a unique take on the haunted house genre, told entirely from the point of view of the ghost.
The cast includes Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Callina Liang, Eddy Maday, Julia Fox and West Mullholland.
The film was shot in secret in just 11 days in New Jersey.
The deal comes 35 years after Soderbergh’s $1 million Sundance deal for 'sex, lies, & videotape' and subsequent Palme d’Or win at Cannes.
