Overview
- The Medical Counselling Committee extended Round 3 choice-filling to 11:59 pm on October 13, citing the inclusion of newly approved seats.
- MCC has not yet published the Round 3 seat-allotment result, and candidates are advised to monitor mcc.nic.in for the release and allotment letters.
- The National Medical Commission’s latest revision brings the total MBBS seats to about 1,26,600 for 2025–26 after a net addition of 9,075 seats.
- A further 139 seats have been earmarked for this round, including 42 in Delhi, 25 each in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Punjab, 15 in Haryana, and 7 in Uttar Pradesh.
- For those allotted seats, reporting is scheduled from October 13 to 21 with data verification on October 22–23, while Maharashtra has issued a separate Round 3 timeline with preference filing through October 14 and a selection list on October 17.
