Overview
- The Medical Counselling Committee released the Round 2 final seat allotment on Monday, Sept 14, and candidates who received seats have begun reporting to allotted institutes to complete joining formalities.
- Maharashtra’s CET Cell published its Round 2 selection list and opened physical reporting and document verification with a Status Retention Form available to lock a seat and remove a candidate from further state rounds.
- Uttar Pradesh opened online Round 2 registration on Sept 14 with the portal link activated at 5 pm, mandatory online security deposits set by DGME (₹30,000 government, ₹2,00,000 private medical, ₹1,00,000 private dental) and a scheduled allotment to be issued on Sept 21.
- Haryana released a provisional Round 2 allotment with provisional fee payment deadlines (Sept 14–16), document verification (Sept 17–19) and a final joining date of Sept 20 for admitted candidates.
- Across centres, failure to report, pay required fees or join within the stated windows will lead to full forfeiture of security deposits and will block re-entry in later rounds unless deposits are re-paid, creating immediate high-stakes choices for candidates and producing vacancies for subsequent rounds.
