Nebraska Woman Declared Dead Found Alive at Funeral Home

74-year-old Constance Glantz was pronounced dead at a nursing home but discovered breathing two hours later by funeral home staff.

Glantz was in hospice care at The Mulberry nursing home and declared dead at 9:44 a.m.
Her body was transported to Butherus-Maser & Love Funeral Home, where staff noticed she was breathing.
CPR was performed, and she was taken to a local hospital but died later that day.
Authorities have found no criminal intent but are investigating procedural failures.
