Nebraska Priest Fatally Stabbed in Church Rectory, Suspect Arrested
Rev. Stephen Gutgsell's death not believed to be related to his past criminal history, according to authorities

- Kierre L. Williams, 43, of Sioux City, Iowa, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of homicide and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
- Father Gutgsell was rushed to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he later died from his injuries.
- Father Gutgsell had previously pleaded guilty to theft by deception for embezzling $127,000 from another church in 2007, but authorities do not believe his death was related to his past criminal history.
