Nebraska Man Arrested for Skid Loader Rampage

Samuel Peyrot faces multiple charges after damaging cars and assaulting an officer with a skid loader owned by his employer.

Samuel Peyrot, 36, was arrested in Lincoln, Nebraska after using a skid loader to damage cars and ram into a police vehicle in two separate parking lots.
Peyrot was charged with second-degree assault on an officer, second-degree assault and criminal mischief.
Multiple vehicles and the exteriors of two businesses were damaged during the rampage, and a man inside one of the vehicles suffered minor injuries.
The skid loader is owned by Peyrot’s employer, and was transported to the location by Peyrot using a company-owned truck and trailer.
The motive behind Peyrot's actions is currently unknown and the case remains under investigation.
