- More than half (52%) consider returning home one of the best parts of a holiday, and 25% feel sad at the prospect of being away.
- On arriving back, unpacking (56%) and laundry (47%) are among the first chores people tackle.
- Three quarters say there is no place like home, with 38% wishing they could transport their home to their destination, 71% scheduling home‑only weekends and 43% taking leave to enjoy time at home.
