Nearly 500,000 Pounds of Breakfast Sandwiches Recalled Over Undeclared Sesame Allergen

  • The undeclared allergen, sesame flour, was used in the French toast component but was not listed on the product labels, violating allergen labeling requirements under the FASTER Act.
  • The affected items include Lettieri’s Food To Go Sausage, Egg & Cheese and Bacon, Egg & Cheese French Toast Breakfast Sandwiches, produced between April 2023 and March 2025.
  • No adverse reactions have been reported as of April 4, 2025, but consumers are advised to discard or return the recalled products immediately.
  • FSIS is conducting recall effectiveness checks to ensure all impacted items are removed from circulation and has urged consumers with concerns to contact healthcare providers.
