Overview

  • Hearthside Food Solutions has recalled 489,887 pounds of frozen breakfast sandwiches due to misbranding and the presence of undeclared sesame flour, a known allergen.
  • The recall affects two products: Lettieri’s Food To Go Sausage, Egg & Cheese French Toast Breakfast Sandwich and Bacon, Egg & Cheese French Toast Breakfast Sandwich.
  • The sandwiches, produced between April 2023 and March 2025, were distributed nationwide to Army & Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) locations serving military personnel and their families.
  • The USDA advises consumers to discard or return the affected products, which bear the establishment number 'EST. V4907' and specific lot codes beginning with 23, 24, and 25.
  • No adverse reactions have been reported as of April 4, 2025, but the USDA continues its investigation into the labeling issue.
