Nearly 25,000 Pounds of Aldi Frozen Taquitos Recalled Over Metal Contamination

The USDA has issued a nationwide recall following reports of metal fragments and a dental injury linked to the product.

The recall affects 24,870 pounds of Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos, produced by Bestway Sandwiches Inc.
The taquitos, sold at Aldi stores in 30 states and Washington, D.C., may be contaminated with metal fragments.
The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) initiated the recall after reports of a dental injury and a customer finding metal in the product.
Consumers are advised to check for 20-ounce packages with best-by dates of July 3, 2025, and September 25, 2025, and the establishment number 'EST. P-40327.'
Customers should dispose of the product or return it to the store for a refund, with additional questions directed to Bestway Foods or the USDA hotline.
