Overview

• Moschitto joins the NDR Bundespolizei franchise as cyber-criminalist Mario Schmitt alongside Möhring’s Thorsten Falke.
• The two-parter “Ein guter Tag/Schwarzer Schnee” will air on 21 December 2025 at 20:15 and 21:45 on Das Erste as a contiguous 180-minute event.
• The first part receives its world premiere at Filmfest Hamburg on 27 September 2025.
• Set near Emden in the German–Dutch border region, the case tackles juvenile contract killers, drug trafficking and the Mocro-Mafia, with Dutch detective Lynn de Baer played by Gaite Jansen.
• The production is an NDR–NPO co-production led by Hans Steinbichler and Alexander Adolph with producers Katinka Seidt, Wiebke Andresen and Leontine Petit, and NDR says further cases with the new duo are planned.
