• JD(U) released a second list of 44 names to finish its 101-seat slate, as BJP’s full 101 and allies LJP(RV), RLM and HAM also completed their lists.

• RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav filed his nomination from Raghopur, with first-phase nominations closing on October 17 and voting set for November 6 and 11.
• The Election Commission told the Supreme Court its Special Intensive Revision was accurate, citing 3.66 lakh deletions for duplication, migration or deaths and a final roll of 7.42 crore electors; a related petition will be heard on November 4.
