NCSoft Opens Signups for Limit Zero Breakers Frontier Closed Beta

The Frontier test adds chapter 3, new raids, characters to enable developers to assess combat, art, UI changes, player progression before launch.

Overview

  • NCSoft announced on Thursday, August 20 that signups are open for a second closed beta called the Frontier Test, with access available for PC via Steam and for Android through a signup form.
  • The Frontier Test is scheduled to run from Wednesday, September 9 and will deliver expanded playable content including chapter 3 of the main story, spin-off narratives, new raids, and new characters.
  • Developers say this build incorporates player feedback from earlier tests with specific upgrades to combat systems, character and background art quality, and UX/UI ease of use.
  • The test will operate under test-specific rules: in-app purchases will be disabled, voice acting is not yet finished, and all test accounts created during the Frontier Test will be deleted after the run.
  • Past testers may need to reapply for the Frontier Test and NCSoft frames the trial as a feedback-driven step to refine the game ahead of a full launch, reflecting the studio’s broader push to polish its ambitious anime-style action RPG.
