NCR Cities Top India’s Pollution Chart as PM2.5 Soars With 'Severe' Conditions Forecast by Nov. 22

Stagnant winds are trapping locally emitted PM2.5, prompting a forecast of 'severe' air on November 22.

  • CPCB data show all 10 most polluted Indian cities on November 19 were in the NCR, led by Ghaziabad at 422, Greater Noida at 420, Noida at 409 and Delhi at 392 at 4 pm.
