• A Class 8 social science map depicts Jaisalmer, Mewar, Bundi and large parts of Rajasthan as territory under the eighteenth-century Maratha Empire.
• Descendants of Rajput dynasties and BJP MPs, including Chaitanya Raj Singh and Mahima Kumari, have condemned the depiction as misleading and demanded corrections.
