- NCERT has printed Ganita Manjari – Part 2 for Class 9 mathematics and put it on sale through its sales counters, the official website and Amazon.
- The council said the Class 9 social science book Understanding Society: India & Beyond – Part 2 will be available for sale on September 30, 2026.
- NCERT advised students, teachers, parents and schools to buy the prescribed editions only from authorised channels to avoid outdated or unofficial copies.
- Critics and some parents have complained about late textbook availability while Class 9 schools have already started the term and midterm exams are scheduled to begin soon.
- The two releases are part of a planned, multi‑year NCERT rollout meant to update learning materials under NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023 and more titles will follow as the academic year proceeds.
