Overview

  • The Lok Sabha will hold a 16-hour, multi-day discussion starting Monday featuring Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
  • NCERT is in the final stages of preparing two case-study modules on Operation Sindoor, each spanning eight to ten pages for students in classes 3–8 and 9–12.
  • The modules will outline India’s precision strikes on terror launchpads across the Line of Control and examine the roles of defence, diplomacy and inter-ministerial coordination.
  • IAF Vice Chief Air Marshal Narmadeshwar Tiwari praised the operation’s cost-benefit model, noting that fewer than 50 precision weapons compelled Pakistan to the negotiating table.
  • Parliamentarians will scrutinize the operation’s execution, diplomatic impact and the broader lessons it offers for national security education.
