NCAA Investigates University of Florida Over Recruitment Jaden Rashada

The NCAA is investigating the University of Florida's football program, with the investigation having been underway since at least June 9, 2023.
The investigation is reportedly related to the recruitment of quarterback Jaden Rashada, who initially signed with Florida in December 2022 but was later released from his national letter of intent after a lucrative name, image and likeness (NIL) deal fell through.
Rashada's NIL deal, reportedly worth more than $13 million over four years, was with the Gator Collective, an independent fundraising group loosely tied to the university; the collective has since been disbanded.
Rashada subsequently enrolled at Arizona State, his father's alma mater, where he started two games as a true freshman.
