NCAA Grants Immediate Eligibility to Cincinnati's Aziz Bandaogo

Aziz Bandaogo, a fourth-year center for the Cincinnati Bearcats, has been granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA after previous denials.
Bandaogo transferred from Utah Valley to Cincinnati and applied for a mental health waiver for immediate eligibility as a two-time transfer.
The NCAA reversed its decision and granted the waiver based on 'new information', similar to the case of North Carolina wide receiver Tez Walker.
Bandaogo, a 7-foot native of Senegal, was the WAC Defensive Player of the Year at Utah Valley in 2022-23, averaging 11.5 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.9 blocked shots.
Bandaogo is expected to make his Cincinnati debut Wednesday at home against Georgia Tech.
