NC State Student Arrested for Highway Shooting Spree in Raleigh

Andrew Thomas Graney, a 23-year-old anthropology student at North Carolina State University, has been arrested and charged with 12 shootings in Raleigh.
Graney is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to kill and multiple counts of firing into occupied vehicles and dwellings.
The shootings occurred over several days, primarily on Interstate 40, with eight vehicles and four homes being hit by gunfire.
A woman was injured in the leg during one of the incidents, but her injuries are not life-threatening.
Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the shootings and are continuing their investigation with the help of local and federal agencies.
