North Carolina's Lieutenant Governor and gubernatorial candidate, Mark Robinson, had a previously unreported meeting with Ginni Thomas, a conservative activist and wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, in March 2021.
The meeting came weeks after the January 6 Capitol riot and was revealed through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Robinson also met with a group called Frontliners for Liberty, which Thomas helped run and which was involved in attempts to overturn Trump's 2020 election loss.
Robinson has been a vocal supporter of Trump and has repeatedly claimed that the 2020 election was stolen.
Robinson is currently the frontrunner in North Carolina's 2024 GOP gubernatorial primary.
