NBEMS to Publish Provisional NEET‑PG Answer Key and Candidate Response Sheets for First Time

The change implements a Supreme Court demand for public raw scores and normalisation details to let candidates cross-check scoring before the final key.

Overview

  • The NEET‑PG exam was held on August 30, 2026, with about 273,096 registered candidates and roughly 265,980 appearing at 1,111 centres across the country.
  • A targeted retest for roughly 2,445 candidates affected by a power outage in Jaipur was conducted on September 5, 2026 to complete the exam process.
  • As of September 7, 2026, NBEMS is preparing to post a provisional answer key and each candidate’s response sheet on the applicant login so test‑takers can see question IDs, correct answers, their marked responses and marks awarded per question.
  • The provisional release will be followed by a subject‑expert review of every question and any item found technically incorrect or ambiguous will be awarded full marks to all candidates, with normalisation details also to be published.
  • NBEMS has set a September 30, 2026 deadline to finalise the answer key and declare results and scorecards will be available for download from the NBEMS site for six months after results are issued, giving candidates a limited window to obtain their documents.
