Overview
- NEET PG will be held on August 30, 2026 in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and NBEMS says candidates must report at 7:00 AM with gates closing at 8:30 AM.
- About 2,73,183 candidates will sit the test across roughly 1,300 centres in 340 cities, prompting expanded centre allocation and large-scale logistical arrangements.
- The 2026 exam pattern reduces the paper to 180 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 210 minutes, with four marks for each correct answer and one mark deducted for wrong answers and fixed 42‑minute timing per five sections.
- Authorities say they will use layered anti-fraud measures including Aadhaar fingerprint authentication with iris backup, CCTV, signal jammers, dynamic computer allocation, live regional and central command‑centre monitoring and deployment of more than 60,000 personnel.
- NBEMS warned candidates to rely only on official communications, avoid carrying banned items and report suspicious claims to reportumc@natboard.edu.in while carrying admissible ID, admit card and medical documents if needed, a step meant to reduce delays and protect fair play.
