NBEMS Expected to Release NEET PG 2026 Provisional Answer Key and Response Sheets Soon

The provisional key would let candidates estimate their scores then file formal challenges through the NBEMS candidate portal if an objection window is opened.

Overview

  • The NEET PG exam was held on August 30, 2026, and as of mid-September NBEMS has not posted the provisional answer key or response sheets but media outlets say the release is imminent.
  • Candidates will be able to download their marked response sheet and the answer key from the official NBEMS portals natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in by logging in with application number and DOB or password.
  • Under the published marking scheme, each correct answer earns +4, each incorrect answer costs −1 and unattempted questions score 0, so estimated score = (correct × 4) − (incorrect × 1).
  • Board data show 273,096 registered, 265,980 appeared and 263,535 completed the exam, and technical glitches at Sitapura, Jaipur led NBEMS to conduct a re‑exam on September 5 for affected centres.
  • If NBEMS opens an objection window candidates will be able to select questions, submit supporting evidence and pay a fee to challenge provisional answers; some portals project a September 30 result but NBEMS has not confirmed any date so candidates should rely only on official notices.
