Overview

• The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences published the official merit list on nbe.edu.in with candidate names, roll numbers, marks and All India Ranks.
• Top five ranks: Dr Pooshan Mohapatra of SCB Medical College, Cuttack (707), Dr Greeshma (705), Dr Asutosh (705), Dr Karthikeya (701) and Dr Adarsh (695).
• Out of 2,30,114 candidates who appeared, 1,28,116 qualified for counselling to MD, MS and PG diploma seats.
• Eligibility cutoffs were set at General/EWS 50th percentile equating to 276/800, General PwBD 45th to 255, and SC/ST/OBC 40th to 235.
• Qualified candidates will proceed to MCC counselling for 50% All India Quota seats, expected over three rounds plus an online stray vacancy round after scorecards go live on August 29.
