NBC to Air 'Wicked' Behind-the-Scenes Special Before Film Release

The special, featuring stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, will provide exclusive insights into the making of the anticipated movie adaptation.

The hourlong special titled 'Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises on Wicked' will air on NBC on November 19 and stream on Peacock the following day.
Viewers will get a glimpse of a new scene from the upcoming 'Wicked' film, which is set for a worldwide release on November 22.
The special includes personal stories, video diaries, and secrets shared by the cast, filmed on the Emerald City set.
Stars appearing in the special include Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, and Marissa Bode.
The special is produced by Monkey, part of Universal International Studios, with NBCUniversal handling international sales.
