'St. Denis Medical,' a workplace comedy following the staff of an underfunded Oregon hospital, has been greenlit for a second season by NBC.
The series, created by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer, stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, and others in a mockumentary format similar to 'The Office' and 'Parks and Recreation.'
Since its premiere in November 2024, the show has garnered 21.4 million viewers across all platforms, making it NBC's highest-rated new series among adults 18-49.
The show has received critical acclaim, earning Critics' Choice Award nominations for Best Comedy Series and Best Actor in a Comedy Series for David Alan Grier, who also received an NAACP Image Award nomination.
Season 1 continues to air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with episodes available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
