NBC Greenlights "Dr. Wolf", a Greg Berlanti Medical Drama Starring Zachary Quinto Based on Oliver Sacks' Work

Series marks one of first orders by NBC since writers' strike resolution, with uncertainty over premiere date due to ongoing actors' strike.

NBC has given a series order for 'Dr. Wolf', a medical drama inspired by the works of neurologist Oliver Sacks, with Zachary Quinto in the lead role as the neurologist Oliver Wolf.
The character explores the human mind while also dealing with their own relationships and mental health, with assistance from a team of interns. The supporting cast includes Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alexander MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, and Teddy Sears.
The series is produced by Berlanti Productions, Fabel Entertainment, The Imaginarium in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, under the executive production of Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Michael Grassi, Leigh London Redman, Henrik Bastin, Melissa Aouate, Andy Serkis, Jonathan Cavendish and DeMane Davis.
The greenlight of 'Dr. Wolf' series marks one of the first series orders by NBC following the resolution of the writers' strike in late September.
Due to the ongoing actors' strike, it remains uncertain when filming will resume for 'Dr. Wolf' and its eventual NBC premiere date.
