- On Oct. 21, NBC and Peacock will launch NBA Tip-Off with a doubleheader featuring the Oklahoma City Thunder against the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Golden State Warriors facing the Los Angeles Lakers.
- Peacock NBA Monday debuts on Oct. 27 with the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets at the Minnesota Timberwolves, and will stream up to three national games on Monday nights throughout the season.
- On Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 19, 2026), NBC Sports will broadcast a four-game slate including a Peacock-exclusive Bucks-Hawks opener and three subsequent games simulcast on NBC and Peacock.
- Sunday Night Basketball will kick off on Feb. 1, 2026, airing weekly prime-time games through April 5 with planned pauses for Super Bowl LX, the NBA All-Star Game and the Winter Olympics.
- NBC has tapped Mike Tirico, Reggie Miller, Jamal Crawford and Zora Stephenson for the first game and Noah Eagle, Grant Hill and Ashley ShahAhmadi for the second, and named Michael Jordan as a special contributor without confirming his opening-night appearance.
