NBA Unveils Group Draw and Schedule for 2025 Emirates Cup

Four group-stage games on Cup Nights will determine the eight teams advancing to December’s Las Vegas knockout rounds.

Overview

  • The league sorted all 30 teams into six five-team groups based on 2024-25 records to launch the tournament’s third in-season edition.
  • East Group B pairs Orlando with Boston, Detroit, Brooklyn and Philadelphia, while East Group C features defending champion Milwaukee alongside New York, Chicago, Miami and Charlotte.
  • Group play runs across four designated Cup Nights from October 31 through November 28, with each club hosting two games and traveling for two.
  • Six group winners and one wild card from each conference will advance to single-elimination quarterfinals on December 9–10 in team markets.
  • Semifinals are set for December 13 and the championship game for December 16 in Las Vegas, with all Cup games counting toward the regular-season standings except the title contest.
