Edwards, who led the Timberwolves to a 107-101 victory, complained about the lack of calls in their favor and stated that he felt the game was unfairly officiated.
Despite his complaints, Edwards acknowledged that he expected to be fined for his comments.
Edwards has been vocal about his belief that he does not receive the same respect from referees as other stars in the NBA.
This is not the first time Edwards has criticized the officiating, having previously commented on the calls that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder receives.
