NBA Announces All-Star Game Starters; Reserves and Coaches to be Revealed
Five Eastern Conference players, including Butler and Mitchell, miss out on starting spots but could still be named as reserves.

- The All-Star reserves will be announced on Thursday, with the selection process being different from that of the starters; the coaches will pick the 14 players (seven for each conference) who will play as the reserves.
- Doc Rivers and Chris Finch are expected to coach the East and West teams, respectively, in the All-Star Game.
- Five players who were expected to be starters in the Eastern Conference, including Jimmy Butler, Donovan Mitchell, Trae Young, Tyrese Maxey, and Jalen Brunson, were not selected, but they still have a chance to be named as reserves.
- The 2024 NBA All-Star Game will take place in Indianapolis on Feb. 18.
