Overview

  • A ProPLAY-powered Motion Engine leverages machine-learning pose matching to deliver fluid, lifelike animations and eliminate previous “skating” effects on next-gen platforms.
  • Enhanced Rhythm Shooting adds shot timing and tempo variables that demand player precision and mirror authentic NBA shooting motions.
  • Offensive systems expand with new Signature Go-To Post Shots, customizable layup packages, universal Green-or-Miss Shot Timing and permanently enabled Layup Timing for higher difficulty modes.
  • Defensive realism is boosted by dynamic body-up collisions, redesigned interior defense matchups and a new Rebound Timing Feedback meter to guide timing on board attempts.
  • Controls are overhauled with Quick Protect, no-dip catch-and-shoots, slow-motion Eurosteps and dedicated wrap-pass and alley-oop inputs, while AI gains Drive & Kick Intelligence, refined defensive logic, expanded playbooks, an AI Shot Timing slider and intermediate Learn 2K tutorials.
