• Students reported two Nazi flags hanging on the east side of Rockwall-Heath High School around 6:40 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, and officers removed them immediately.
• Rockwall ISD and the Heath Department of Public Safety are investigating the incident as a criminal act, reviewing surveillance and requesting tips at 972-961-4900.
• The district notified families, pledged to identify those responsible, and said accountability will follow once suspects are found.
• At a Monday board meeting, a trustee condemned the display on behalf of the school board and praised the students who reported it.
• Local Jewish families and faith leaders voiced concern and urged education and consequences, while the district added extra security and engaged directly with affected students and families.
