  • Wednesday will also mark his 260th consecutive appearance for the Flames.
  • He has not missed a game since arriving in Calgary at the start of the 2022–23 season.
  • Since joining the team, he has led the Flames in goals, game-winners, overtime goals, power-play goals and shots.
  • He signed a seven-year, $7 million AAV contract in August 2022 after Calgary moved Sean Monahan to create cap space.
  • His career includes being drafted seventh overall by Toronto in 2009, winning the Stanley Cup with Colorado in 2022, and an OHL championship in 2008.
