  • The bank had seized the vehicle, frozen the guarantor's account, and asked the pair to clear dues of ₹36,000 the same day.
  • Police said the accused allegedly took the victim to his Vajegaon residence, tied and gagged him, and assaulted him while issuing extreme threats.
  • The complainant alleged the assailant threatened to tranquilise him, remove a kidney, and sell his blood, then snatched ₹12,300 before leaving him.
  • Based on the August 26 complaint, a case was registered under BNS sections 127(7), 118(1), 115(2), 351(2) and 352, and an investigation is underway.
