Overview
- Akasa Air opened bookings and will start with four routes, beginning with its maiden Delhi–Navi Mumbai flight QP 1831 landing at 08:10 on Dec. 25 and return QP 1832 departing at 08:50.
- Regular daily Delhi services follow from Dec. 26, with Goa flights from Dec. 25 (six days a week), Kochi from Dec. 26 on select days expanding from Dec. 28, and Ahmedabad from Dec. 31 once weekly.
- IndiGo said it will launch from Dec. 25, initially linking the airport to ten cities: Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, North Goa (Mopa), Jaipur, Nagpur, Kochi, and Mangaluru.
- The Air India Group, via Air India Express, plans to begin services and is reported to target about 20 daily departures to 15 Indian cities, with the group aiming for roughly 55 daily departures by mid-2026.
- Phase one features a single runway and a terminal with 21 contact gates, and initial operations are reported to run for about 12 hours daily before a gradual ramp-up.
