Navi Mumbai Airport Achieves Milestone with First Successful Landing

The inaugural landing of an IAF C-295 aircraft marks a significant step towards the airport's operational readiness by early next year.

  • The airport is a joint venture between Adani Airports and CIDC, with the first phase expected to be completed by March 2025.
  • Once fully operational, the airport will feature four terminals and two runways, with a capacity for 90 million passengers annually.
  • Currently, 75% of the terminal building is constructed, and the facility will eventually handle up to 2.6 million tonnes of cargo.
